

The Mission of Skills India Foundation (MSIF) is committed to the responsible use of technology to ensure the privacy, security, and integrity of information. This IT Policy defines the guidelines for the use of IT resources within MSIF, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and outlines the responsibilities of all employees and stakeholders regarding IT security.
MSIF’s IT resources, including computers, software, and network services, should only be used for legitimate business purposes. Employees and contractors are prohibited from using MSIF IT resources for personal, illegal, or unethical activities. Misuse of IT resources can lead to disciplinary actions, including termination.
MSIF is committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of personal data. All employees and contractors must follow the data protection guidelines outlined in our Privacy Policy and ensure that all data, whether personal or organizational, is securely stored, processed, and transmitted.
To protect MSIF's digital assets and sensitive information, the following security measures must be adhered to:
MSIF adheres to legal and regulatory requirements regarding software licensing. Employees and contractors are not permitted to use pirated software or install unlicensed applications on MSIF devices. All software used within the organization must be properly licensed and comply with copyright laws.
Internet access and email accounts provided by MSIF are for professional use only. Employees must refrain from visiting unauthorized websites or downloading malicious software. MSIF’s email system must not be used for spamming, illegal activities, or sending inappropriate content.
Employees must report any security incidents, data breaches, or suspicious activity immediately to the IT department. MSIF has procedures in place to respond to cybersecurity incidents and will take all necessary steps to mitigate any risks to the organization’s IT infrastructure.
For remote work, employees must use secure VPN connections and ensure that personal devices used for work purposes are properly secured and meet MSIF’s IT security standards. MSIF's IT department will provide necessary guidelines and support for BYOD and remote working setups.
MSIF reserves the right to amend this IT Policy as needed. All employees and contractors will be notified of any changes, and they must acknowledge the updated policy. Continued use of MSIF IT resources constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
All employees and contractors must comply with local, state, and national laws and regulations related to the use of IT resources, data protection, and information security.
